Day 120: Britt to Beaverstone Bay, Ontario
Day 120: Saturday, August 13th: The rain finally stopped last night, so we hoped for a pretty day today and it was. Leaving the marina, we noticed this character boat across the channel:

The only drawback to the rain going away was that the winds picked up. We were running west, mostly into the seas. However, we drove on in spite of the bumpiness. In the distance the mountains looked like they had snow on them. We realized later that the white was quartz embedded in the granite:

We got out of the bumpy water and into Beaverstone Bay, an area of water with several islands to anchor behind. We chose one with good swinging room that had no sign of civilization around. This picture does not do justice to it; it was lovely:

Later we dinghied over to Pollyanna for a captain's meeting (euphemism for cocktail hour). She was about ½ mile away:

The sunset was perfectly beautiful!

We slept like rocks this night! We had traveled a long and pretty day today.
